Would highly recommend using Nexus to assist with visa applications. They made the process so easy and stress-free. They would reply to my emails within minutes and were always available to phone. I will definitely be using them again for future visa applications. Money well spent, thank you to the Nexus team.

You will need to hold ILR for a minimum of 12 months before you can apply for British Citizenship

How long do I have to be on a Spousal Visa before I can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain?

You will need to complete 60 months on your Spouse visa before you can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain. No. As long as you apply for your Retention of SA Citizenship from the SA High Commission BEFORE you apply for British Citizenship, you are permitted to hold Dual Nationality, South African/British

You will need to apply for a new Retention letter for every new Citizenship you take up voluntarily (not if obtained through one of your parents).

How can I trust that Nexus will do everything correctly?

We are regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC), which is the government regulated body and it is a criminal offence if someone is providing Immigration advice without this regulation. Our Advisors are very well trained in the rules and regulations of the UK Immigration system and will give you the best possible advice on your current situation.

Can I apply for British Citizenship/Naturalisation as a same day appointment with the UKVI (formally the UKBA)?

No. British Naturalisation is only available as an online application and as considerable verification checks need to be completed, the processing time can take up to 6 months once submitted with the UKVI.
