Getting your documents to Nexus Visas

Royal Mail

Post your documents to us with Royal Mail Special delivery, guaranteed next day by 1pm and insured.

Motor Cycle Courier

A motor cycle courier can collect and deliver your documents (London only) for a fee of approximately £30 each way. You will need to arrange this yourself.

In Person

Bring your documents to our office in person between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday

Why Nexus?

  • Once the Application has been submitted, VFS Global will transfer your file to the consulate the next business day.

This entire procedure could take you more than 3 hours! Plus another trip back to collect your visa!

  • Their visa centre is extremely busy and you could waiting around to get in, get a ticket and wait to be called before submitting your application.
  • They only take applicants between 8:30am and 11am Mon to Fri!

So you have to get there a bit earlier to get in in time. Once you get there you could be in a queue for anything from 1 to 3 hours, this is assuming all goes smoothly.

Once you get in you go through a number of processes:

  • A security check.
  • Next you go to the Welcome Desk where they issue you with a ticket.
  • Then you go to the waiting area, where you wait your ticket number to be called to submit your documents to a customer service representative.
  • The customer service representative then checks all your documents thoroughly.
  • Next you pay for your application..
  • When your passport is ready you go back to VFS to once again queue up to get your passport and visa back.

The entire process could take 2-3 hours plus a couple of visits!

Multiple Entry & Validity of Visas

  1. Please note that a multiple entry visa is issued at the DISCRETION of the Embassy.
    If you have requested a multiple entry visa on your application it is by no means guaranteed that you will get one.
  2. The validity (length) period is also at the discretion of the Embassy.
  3. Once the Embassy have made their decision we will not enter into any discussion or correspondence over these two issues.
